Now this is one beauty with brains and social consciousness too! Priyanka was the brand ambassador for the green campaign of a TV news channel and was pretty vocal about it too, encouraging the youth to embrace a greener lifestyle.
"I'm a part of the young generation who questions almost everything. But we need to understand that it takes little things for something to become big," said Priyanka. "Youngsters often ask - 'What can we do?' But I believe it is only the simple things we can do that can bring about a change. Get involved in such initiatives; spend a weekend doing something good for the environment and you will feel happy..."
The campaign ended up raising Rs.20 million and lit up 55 villages by way of solar lighting across India.
More recently, Piggy Chops made her debut in an animated video campaign to raise awareness of environmental issues.
